Symptoms

The field separator is hard-coded in the program R41061M (Supplier Catalog Mass Update) as comma. This is only compatible with a decimal separator as point for the unit price field.
The field separator(comma) is used to separates two fields in the flat file and it has to be different than the decimal separator used in the application.
There are people from different countries that have the comma set for the decimal value, so this could be a conflict between R41061M process and the setup of the user.
The customer would like to have the field separator value adjustable in a processing option of the R41061M (should be a second option in the Flat File tab of the processing options). In this case the customer will be free to set-up it as comma, point or better semi-colon.
