E1: 41: (R41413) Cycle Count Update Status 50 Error (Doc ID 2876012.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 18, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Inventory Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

If a line has an error in cycle count update but remaining lines are OK, the status updates to 50, Completed, when it
should remain at 40, Approved. Enhance (R41413) Cycle Count Update so that If "ANY" of the lines on a Cycle Count returns "Error writing transaction" at Cycle Count Update, the cycle count status should "NOT" advance to status 50. System should also give users a better error message explaining which items have errors and what kind.

Steps To Duplicate:
1.  Set up a new item in a branch plant. Adjust stock into 3 locations (primary, 1.A.1 and 1.A.2). Set the G/L class for 1.A.1 to something different from the other two locations (ie IN20).
2.  Delete the AAI 4154 entry for G/L class IN20, your branch plant and your company.
3.  Adjust some inventory for your item into the 3 locations.
4.  Run through the steps of a cycle count. At cycle count entry, enter quantities that vary from the on hand balance.
5.  Update the cycle count with R41413. The system will advise "Error occurred during transaction" for 1.A.1 due to the missing AAI.

6.  Check the cycle count review - the status is 50, Completed
