Goal
On E920, 9.2.6.3 tools release, OS/400 V7R4, there are some UBEs that create output text file with garbage characters. These UBEs require a flat file encoding entry in Flat File Encoding Configuration application (P93081) in order for the output text file to be created correctly with no garbage characters. Some need UTF-8 encoding to work and some need IBM-37 encoding to work.
Looking for information what might drive the output to be different between UBEs.
