Symptoms

Price Adjustments Global Revisions (P45550) inquiries are too slow. A query that took Price Adjustments Global Revisions (P45550) 2 min and 44 seconds only returned 29 records. The same query against the Mass Maintenance - Adjustment Detail Work File [V4072WA] Business View returned the 29 records in just a few seconds.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Enter Price Adjustments Global Revisions (P45550) and populate the following query fields in the QBE line and click Find
    1. Adj Name = <Adjustment Name>
    2. Short Item No. = <Short Item Number>
    3. Expired Date > “<Date>”
    4. Cust Grp 1 = “<Cust Grp 1 Category Code>
    5. Query took 2 min and 44 seconds to return 29 records
  2. Use the databrowser to query the Price Adjustment Detail (F4072) using the following criteria
    1. Adj Name = <Adjustment Name>
    2. Short Item No. = <Short Item Number>
    3. Expired Date > “<Date>”
    4. Category Code was not available from this table
    5. Records were returned immediately.
  3. Go into Mass Maintenance - Adjustment Detail Work File [V4072WA] Business View and populate the following query fields in the and click Fiind
    1. Adj Name = <Adjustment Name>
    2. Short Item No. = <Short Item Number>
    3. Expired Date > “<Date>”
    4. Category Code was not available from this table
    5. Records were returned immediately
