E1: E1Page: Composed Page Opening a Blank Tab when calling a Third Party Application (Doc ID 2887333.1)

Goal

Working on converting Classic E1pages to Composed pages. When trying to recreate the Composed Page from the .dat file there is a url call that opens a third party software on a pop up window instead of the browser. That leads to have a tab opened in the browser that it is blank and in order to prevent the empty tab "return 0;" is added to the end of the script as shown below to automatically close the tab.

This works well with the dat file on classic page and generator.

When recreating the Classic Page as Composed Page using a task url on the composed page. This works well bringing the third party application which opens as a pop up window same as the Classic Page but also opens a new tab on the browser which is blank and that is confusing to the end users.

Is there a way to avoid the blank tab on the browser? When setting up the task the return 0; does not work.
