E1: ORCH: Struct Type Drop-down Displays "No matches found" When Using Distribution list for To, Cc or Bcc and When Setting the Parent Address Number to a Variable in the Message Request (Doc ID 2887986.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 10, 2022

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When trying to setup a message request in orchestrator studio with To or Cc or Bcc as Distribution list and when trying to use a variable for the Parent Address Number, Struct Type drop-down displays "No matches found". Correct structure type and the corresponding variable (eg: ${tovariable}) are displayed in the drop-down if a proper address number is provided instead of variable.

It is expected that when using a variable for the Parent Address Number, a variable should be available for selection in the Struct Type drop-down. At runtime, user will need to send in a valid combination for both values as variables.

Steps to replicate:

  1. Login to the Orchestrator Studio
  2. Click on the Messages icon in the home page
  3. Click on New button to create a new message and enter a Name
  4. For To or Cc or Bcc, Select Type as Distribution
  5. Enter a variable in Parent Address Number using the format - ${}. Eg: ${ABNumber}
  6. Click on the drop-down to Select Structure Type
