E1: E1PAGE: Enhancement Request to Reduce Hover Text Displayed on Composed Page Tile (Doc ID 2888495.1)

Last updated on APRIL 04, 2025

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On a composed E1 page with tile hover active, currently a pop-up window shows program, version, form information in addition to a user-defined description and URL link when users hover on a tile.
Requesting an option so that only the user-defined description and URL link appear initially to cut down on the clutter. Possibly, the other information (program, version, form) could be accessed by using a "?" link on the hover pop-up.

The desire for hover text continuity between Composed and Classic E1 Pages is acknowledged/respected (per the implementation of Bug 24766075, but the current pop-up has too much system-type information.
Having just the tile description and URL link appearing would make it a cleaner experience for end users.
