E1: 31A: Work Order Inbound Processor (R4801Z1I) Creates Production Costs (F3102) with Blank Current Amounts (Doc ID 2888558.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 01, 2022

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Shop Floor Control - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After creating a Standard Cost Manufacturing inbound Work Order and Parts List (P4801Z1) for interoperability, the Work Order Inbound Processor (R4801Z1I) will create the Work Order header and Parts List as expected. However, the system will not create the Current Units/Amounts in the Production Cost table (F3102). This will cause unexpected engineering and planned variances at the time Variance Accounting (R31804) is run.

Steps:

1. Create an Inbound Work Order Header for interoperability (P4801Z1, W4801Z1B) using a Standard Cost (07) Manufactured item.
2. Re-inquire on the Inbound Work Order Header, select the record and take the row exit to Parts List (form W4801Z1C).
3. Enter Parts List information for the inbound Work Order.
4. Row exit to Routings from the Inbound Work Order Header (form W4801Z1D).
5. Enter Routing information for the inbound Work Order.
6. Run Work Order Inbound Processor (R4801Z1I) and make sure that the batch program finishes successfully.
7. Find the Work Order in Work with Manufacturing Work Orders (P48013); review the header, Parts List (P3111) and Routing (P3112).
8. Inquire on the Work Order number in Production Cost Inquiry (P31022); notice that the Current column is blank.
