Last updated on AUGUST 18, 2022

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Store Media Object files in database has been set to true ([OWWEB] StoreMedObjFilesInDB=true).

Media Object files are being saved on the JAS instance temp location (see below) and also in the Database.

JAS Instance Temp Location

Weblogic      C:\Oracle\Middleware\Oracle_Home\user_projects\domains\<DomainName>\servers\<ManagedServer>\stage\<JASInstance>\app\webclient.war\moqueue\< FileServer>\<Release>\mediaobj\<QueueName>

Websphere   C:\IBM\WebSphere\AppServer\profiles\<ProfileName>\installedApps\<CellName>\<JASInstance>.ear\webclient.war\moqueue\<FileServer>\<Release>\mediaobj\<QueueName>

These files are consuming too much disk space. Can the files in the JAS instance temp location be deleted or cleared?
