With the current data dictionary error level set to a warning system allows a user to correct equipment status records in the past as needed. To change the error level to a hard error, could have a negative impact on other uses, so a change to the error level is not recommended.
Once missed or skipped equipment status records are entered from P1702, using dates and times in the past on the called status change window are completed, the current Equipment Status will reflect the last entry reported, not the status of the current history record.
This enhancement request is to modify the logic for the Warning Message Error ID 3206, to provide a warning that the status change using a date in the past or out of sequence with existing history records will update or insert the status history records only and not update the current equipment status.
Client expects that only an Equipment Status change using a current date or a date that is greater than the effective date of the last history record will update both Equipment Master and Equipment Status history.
