Symptoms

After applying the ESU for Enhancement 33239782 - STANDARD OCCUPATIONAL CLASSIFICATION (SOC) FOR WASHINGTON STATE, Washington SUI Magnetic Media (48) (R89078348) program is incorrectly populating the SOC Code in positions 136 – 141 based on the July 2021 ICESA WASHINGTON FORMAT SPECIFICATIONS.

Washington SUI Magnetic Media (48) (R89078348) should be populating the SOC Code in positions 108 – 113 based on the June 2022 ICESA WASHINGTON FORMAT SPECIFICATIONS.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Apply ESU JN19457 to implement Enhancement 33239782 - STANDARD OCCUPATIONAL CLASSIFICATION (SOC) FOR WASHINGTON STATE
  2. Review Post Install Instructions for the ESU requiring new codes in UDC Table 06/SO (Standard Occupational Class)
  3. Populate Description 2 field with SOC codes on several records.
  4. Setup two employees in National Fiscal Data (P0801US).
  5. Create an interim check for both employees and process through Final Update
  6. Run create Unemployment Work File (R078300)
  7. Check Washington SUI Magnetic Media Report PDF (R078348)
  8. Review F078348.csv file
  9. SOC values were populated in positions 136 – 141 based on the July 2021 specifications
  10. ICESA WASHINGTON BULK FORMAT SPECIFICATION from June 2022 states: “Columns 108-113 are for providing the six-digit SOC code corresponding to the employee’s occupation."
