E1: RDA: The CSV Output Created by an UBE Becomes Misaligned Because Fields Added to the CSV File Are Containing Double Quote Marks (") (Doc ID 2895317.1)

Symptoms

A special designated UBE is used to create a CSV flat file containing data from database. There are several text fields which are required to have double quote marks (") or comma (,).

The data shown in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne application or Databrowser, looks like this:

After the UBE processes the data, the resulting CSV file has the following content:

If the CSV file is opened in Microsoft Excel, the data will look like this:

It is also noted that beside the fact that the columns are misaligned, the invoice number which was stored in CSV as "0000083850" is transformed to number and the leading zeros are missing (83850).
