E1: 31: Lean Orders Daily Plan PF31010B and Ad Hoc Completion PF31011 Entry Ends With An Invalid Location Error (Error Id 3138) When Location Control P41001 Constant is Enabled (Doc ID 2900730.1)

Symptoms

Cannot Add PF31010B Lean Completion Daily plan or PF31011 Lean Ad Hoc Completion to new or existing blank (primary) or non-blank (secondary) locations when Location Control is enabled in the P41001 Branch Constants.  Location field highlights in Error: Daily Shop Floor Plan - Item Add (SF31010BA), Error 1 Invalid Location Warning

Error ID 3138 Invalid Location

Steps:

  1. Verify that test using a branch with P41001 branch constants set to location control.
  2. Enter fresh P41026 planning data for this test. Cost and Price is optional.
  3. Create multi-level P3002 bill of material.
  4. Setup a P3006 work center as work center type 2, lean.
  5. From Menu GF3111, Open Lean / Orderless Preparation – Shop Floor Plan Daily Plan Definition PF31011B, set to call named version of RF31011B
  6. Click on Add to make a new entry and open the lower form – Daily SF Plan – Item Add
  7. Verify that Line/Cell, BP and Shift Code populates from processing option.
  8. Enter Item number and the primary Location gets auto-populated.
  9. Enter a Planned Qty, Planned Completion Date and hit ‘Save & Add New'. Repeat Test with GF3112/PF31011 Lean Ad Hoc Completion.  System gives a ‘Invalid Location’ red error. Error ID 3138. 

Note: Do NOT get the error, when the P41001 location control is Unchecked / OFF.
