Symptoms
Currently by design, Custom One View Reports (OVR) need to be created using Domestic Language for User Profile. Then they can be translated using document E1: OVR: How to Translate a Custom OVR Report? (Doc ID 1909046.1).
Enhancement Request is for the ability for a user, using a Non-Domestic Language, the ability to create a custom OVR Report without having to change to Domestic Language prior to creating the custom OVR.
Example when Domestic Language is set to English and Spanish Language Pack is installed:
1.Using the P01012 Address Book application, create a new OVR report with a User Profile set to Spanish, using the column titles: "Fiscal ID" "Tax ID" and "TAX field"
Sign on with User Profile set to Spanish, execute report. Report executes successfully.
Change the User Profile to Domestic Language. Sign on with that user. Execute the report.
Report Errors with "The metadata between E1 (local report definition) and BIP (data model) do not match at:[_Tax_ID<->_ID_fiscal]."
2. Using the P01012 Address Book application, create a new OVR report with a User Profile set to Spanish, using the column titles: "Address Number" and "Alpha Name" Title name contain special characters "º" and "é"
Sign on with User Profile set to Spanish, execute report. Report only displays the report header and the rest of the report is blank.
Example when Domestic Language is set to English and Spanish Language Pack is not installed.
1. Domestic Language is English. User Profile is set to Spanish for Language then creates a new OVR report.
2. OVR report displays in English.
3. Signing on with a User Profile that is set to Domestic Language and the OVR report displays in English.
