Call an Orchestration from a Workflow EnterpriseOne Workflow has traditionally enabled a level of process automation by offering capabilities such as sending messages with action links, running reports, and executing business functions. This enhancement expands the power of workflows by adding the ability to invoke orchestrations and notifications. In this way, workflow processes now inherit all the automation power of orchestrations, while still maintaining their ability to suspend processing to wait for human activities, such as approvals. Product Catalog Logic Extensions: Call Directly from a Form Extension This enhancement enables you to launch a logic extension directly from a form extension without having to include it in an orchestration, thus simplifying the process of associating the logic extension to a form and eliminating the unnecessary orchestration. Product Catalog Logic Extensions: Aggregation Support This feature enhances the capabilities of logic extensions with the ability to aggregate data that is read from EnterpriseOne tables. Designers can leverage built-in data analytics capabilities within the EnterpriseOne system, simplify cases in which data needs to be summed, averaged, or otherwise aggregated, and accomplish a level of data analysis and manipulation without programming skills. Product Catalog Data Set Processing for Logic Extensions This feature enhances the capabilities of logic extensions with the ability to accept arrays as inputs and return arrays as outputs for efficient iterative processing of multiple rows of data within the logic extension. Product Catalog Complex Queries to the EnterpriseOne Database This feature provides a built-in, preconfigured, read-only Orchestrator connection to the EnterpriseOne database. Using this connection, users with SQL programming skills can create orchestrations that perform more advanced queries to the EnterpriseOne database, such as table joins and complex SQL queries. Product Catalog Access to AIS APIs from e1pagehelper This enhancement broadens the list of APIs that can be invoked through e1pagehelper.js to include essentially all AIS APIs, thus expanding the services you can use to build your custom JavaScript pages. Web OMW Spec Object Support You can now manage all JD Edwards EnterpriseOne object types from a single centralized Web OMW interface for concurrent projects. These enhancements minimize the dependency on the Windows development client for the management of JD Edwards Objects through their development lifecycle for administrators and developers. In addition, projects and objects can be imported and exported through the Web OMW interface directly into environment metadata repositories. Finally, Web OMW has been enhanced to support direct and completed development of Workflow and Data Structure objects, forgoing the necessity for a Windows development client for these object types. These additional layers of security minimize spamming of emails from the sender and eliminates the scope of security vulnerabilities. Product Catalog
Provisioning New Enterprise Servers with Customized Application Package This enhancement enables you to utilize the current active packages for existing path codes when creating a new Enterprise Server instance via Server Manager. By leveraging the current active package, newly spun up Enterprise Servers are ready immediately, with no additional actions. This feature enables you to manage your own systems as templates for creating new elastic Enterprise Servers for logic and batch usage. Product Catalog SecurityPassword Reset Self-service You can reset your JD Edwards passwords through the password self-service option and gain immediate access to your JDE systems without involving the system administrator. This saves time and effort for both you and the system administrators. Product Catalog TLS Support for DB Communication The communication between JAS and the database servers is now secured with TLS encryption. The communication through ODBC connections from the development clients and deployment server to database server on AS400 is also secured with SSL enablement. This provides enhanced security for database communications and prevents the risk of sensitive data leaks and SQL injection attacks. Product Catalog Enhanced Authentication for Data Access Through DAD Driver This enhancement provides seamless token-based authentication as an alternative to using hard coded passwords, enabling you to make highly secure data requests without exposing user credentials. Enhanced security enables you to eliminate repetition of user credentials for every request made through the DAD driver. It also enables you to execute complex queries through the Orchestrator data connector. Product Catalog
