E1: 07: Certified Payroll Register R07371 Is Not Showing Check Detail For Multiple Jobs When the First Job Hours and Amount are Reversed (Doc ID 2902764.1)

Last updated on MARCH 13, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne US Payroll - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The Certified Payroll Register R07371 does not print the Check Details (Taxes) when the Employee Transaction History F0618 for the same Check Control Number includes 2 jobs for an employee for the same work date. One job data is
reversed (incorrectly entered).  The second job does include hours and/or amount.

Steps:
1. Time entry is entered for a date and job ABC step 2 for regular time, and overtime. Entry was done in error. Time entry is not deleted but negative hours are entered for the same date and job ABC step 2 for regular time and overtime.
2. Time entry is entered for the same date and job ABC step 3 for regular time and overtime (these are a higher rate).
3. Run through payroll and Final Update. All entries have the same check control and payment number.
4. Run Certified Payroll Register populating processing options for pay period end date.
Note that no Check Details (Taxes) are printed on the report for the employee.

If the same entries are created all for the same job the Check Details (Taxes) are correctly printed on the report for the employee.
