E1: 90: Changes To Activities (P01301) From the CRM Calendar (P01311) are not Viewable From Opportunities (P90CB020) (Doc ID 2904562.1)

Symptoms

When an Activity (P01301) is updated from the CRM Calendar (P01311), the changes  cannot be viewed when the Edit Activity screen (P01301) is reviewed from the Opportunities (P90CB020) application.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Go into Opportunity - Search for Opportunities (P90CB020) and click + to Add an opportunity.
    1. Populate Add Opportunity screen and click Save and Continue Button.
    2. On the Manage Opportunity screen, add lines in the grid for items that are proposed for sale.
    3. Click on the Activities Tab.
    4. On the Activities screen, click on the Add Activity Button.
    5. Populate Activity Details. Start Date 10/21/2022 and End Date 10/28/2022.
    6. Add an address book number in the assignee field and click Save and Close.
    7. The Activity is Added. Click the Close Button.
    8. Find the opportunity to confirm it was added and close the Search for Opportunities screen.
  2. From the CRM Menu (G90) while logged in as Assignee, select the CRM Calendar (P01311 ZJDE0002).
    1. The calendar opens automatically to today’s date and shows a All Day activity. Click on the link.
    2. Notice the Start Date and End Date are the same as previously entered from the Opportunity screen. Note that the competed checkbox has not been checked.
    3. Check the Completed Checkbox which then populates the Date Completed and click the “Save and Close” Button.
    4. Close the Calendar.
  3. From the CRM menu, go back into Opportunity.
    1. On Search for Opportunities (P90CB020) click Find to display Opportunities records and Select the Opportunity that was updated from the Calendar.
    2. On the Manage Opportunity Screen (P90CB020), click on the Activities tab.
    3. On the Activities screen, click Find, locate the activity in the grid. Select the Activity.
    4. On the Edit Activity screen, notice the Completed Checkbox is not checked and the Date Completed is not populated. The changes made from the calendar were not saved on the Activity.
  4. Return to the Calendar. Select the Calendar Entry again.
    1. Now the Edit Activity screen shows the Completed Checkbox is checked and the Date Completed is populated.
