Last updated on APRIL 05, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Procurement and Subcontract Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The customer defines the Price Catalog with a discount for the unit cost of the item based on the quantity purchased.

If running the Supplier Catalog Mass Update(R41061M) setting date to the processing option  "3. Date - Effective Thru" and set blank to the "4. Update Unit Price" to update only effective thru date of prices, the R41061M incorrectly update all prices with same value.

Step:

  1. In the Supplier Catalog Revisions (P41061), define a Price Catalog using different price according the ordered quantity.

    Example:
       Unit Price         Quantity    Effective Thru
        0.1854         5000.000   12/31/2022
        0.1242       10000.000   12/31/2022
        0.0923       20000.000   12/31/2022
        0.0674     300000.000   12/31/2022

  2. Set the processing options of R41061M as below to update only the Effective Thru Date, and not update prices.

     "1. Update" tab;
      - 1. Mode = 1(Final Mode), 3. Date - Effective Thru = 12/31/2023
      - 4. Update Unit Price" = Blank(No Update)

  3. Run the R41061M
  4. Go to P41061 and see the R41061M correctly updated the Effective Thru Date as expected. However, prices are also updated for all lines with same value incorrectly.

       Unit Price         Quantity   Effective Thru
        0.1854        5000.000   12/31/2023
        0.1854      10000.000   12/31/2023
        0.1854      20000.000   12/31/2023
        0.1854    300000.000   12/31/2023
