E1: 41: P4108 Quantity Released From Quarantine Status Without An Item Ledger Entry (Doc ID 2906439.1)

Symptoms


Upon testing it was found that when the same lot is being modified in multiple instances of P4108 (Multiple users working parallelly on same lot in P4108 application) there is no check performed on Current Lot Status on Ok button click of Location Lot Status update. Related Item Ledger entry is missing.

Steps:

When same lot is being modified in multiple instances of P4108, there is no check performed on Current Lot Status on Ok button click of Location Lot Status update.

1)Enter P4108-Work with lot master
2)Select-> line 2, select-> Row Exit, select-> Location Lot Status
3)Open two instances of P4108 and open same Location Lot Status option as shown below.
4)In first instance, add lot status ‘Q’ and click Ok button…keep the other P4108 application instance open for same lot.
5)When in screen 'Location Lot Status Update'
6)Verify P4108 after adding ‘Q’ status and saving it.
7)Verify P41202 for location lot status after adding ‘Q’ status.
8)Verify Item ledger entry also.
9)Now click Ok on the other P4108 application that was opened already (SECOND INSTANCE).
10)Verify Lot master.
11)The quantity has been released from Quarantine status ‘Q’ and is now seen under Qty. Available bucket.
12)No Item Ledger Entry found for Quarantine ‘Q’ status removal, only previous entry is visible:
