E1: 46L: What Program Logic is Used by the Location Selection Driver (R46171) to Determine Which License Plate (LPN) to Select when there are Multiple Child LPNs with the Same Lot Number in the Same Location? (Doc ID 2906443.1)

Goal

When you have 2 Sales or Work Orders for the same item/lot where one of the orders is for a partial child LP quantity and the other is for a full child LP quantity, the system selects LP1 for the first order and LP2 for the 2nd.

However, if you change the 2nd of these 2 orders so it is now a partial LPN quantity the system selects LP1 for the first order using a portion of this LPN quantity.  It then takes the remaining quantity of this LPN for the 2nd order and then selects the remaining quantity of the order from from LP2.

So depending on the quantities on the 2 orders when submitting the R46171, the LPN suggested will differ.

What is the programming logic that controls this and/or is there a way for a user to control which LPN is selected in this situation?
