Last updated on NOVEMBER 09, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Fixed Assets - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

STEPS:

1. From P12104 Work with Assets launched P1201 Asset Master and entered a new asset.
2. On P1202 Depreciation Information added depreciation information to the asset.
3. From P12130 Beginning Balance Adjustments added the beginning balance for the asset.
4. Run R12855 for the asset to post the depreciation entries.
5. Run the R12104. The system filled the asset disposal date in F1201 Asset Master.
6. Run R09801. Noticed that the post to GL worked fine.
7. Run R12800 over the disposal batch. The post did not succeed, only the cost account was posted to FA.
8. Removed the asset disposal date from P1201 Asset Master and run R12800 over the disposal batch. This time the post worked fine, the system created the corresponding transaction to the accumulated depreciation account and created the new row on the F1202 table for posting the NBV to the disposal account.
