E1: 07: Negative Pay Type Calculates Incorrectly In Tax Details Causing Out Of Balance Condition (P07210, P07210i) (Doc ID 2908661.1)

Symptoms

When payroll includes a negative pay type, the gross wages calculate correctly but the Tax Details are adding not subtracting the negative pay type causing an out-of-balance condition.

Steps To Duplicate:

  1. Create a negative pay type with the gross (-) net (-) in the (P059116)
  2. To see the out-of-balance easily, create an interim payment (P07210i) for the following:
    1. Regular Pay 1 for 40 hrs  for gross amt of 1,200
    2. Negative Pay 975 for 1 hr  for a lump sum of $300
  3. Click purple calculator and it shows gross correctly as $1,200- $300 for a total of $900
  4. Click Form Exit and go to Tax Detail and notice that the gross wages throughout show $1,200 + $300 = $1,500
  5. Notice the out of balance condition issue causes.  This causes a balance error.
