E1: 74: IDEV Intrastat File For Germany Localization (Doc ID 2910049.1)

Symptoms

Beginning from 1st January 2023 all the German companies need to use a different file to upload the Intratstat declaration. This file is called IDEV and is different from the old iDES file.

Steps:

  1. Generate Intracommunity import and export data (R0018I1 and R0018I2) and store in Intrastat work file. File (F0018T).
  2. Create flat file via R0018I3- IDEP/IRIS Interface. Processing options: Tab 'Process' PO#1 'Interface Type'.
  3. Above processing option should get the new option IDEV (new format) which will create a file according to new legislation, that can be uploaded via website of www-idev.destatis.de ( https://www-idev.destatis.de/idev/doc/intra_en/hilfe3_1.html )
  4. The new process for Germany should create a different file via R0018I3 (now IDES format) and the submission to the government which now is done via R0018IGF. The UBE R0018IGF will become obsolete.
