The customer is encountering the error 'Error ID 317 JAS MSG317- Duplicate Key not allowed' upon entering a new code value in UDC 40/LB (Inventory/OP BaseInventory/OP Base - Line of BusinessInventory/OP Base) followed by using the respective value in the application P40310 Preference Profile Line of Business.
