E1: 42: Sales History Summary (F4229) Records do not Balance to Sales Order Detail History (F42119)

Symptoms
Customer is trying to figure out why their Sales Order History File (F4229) quantity plus the summarized fields do not balance to their Sales Order Detail History (F42119) by item number, fiscal date/year, order type. Their processing options in Sales Update (R42800) are set to update F4229. A review of records show the F4229 records are missing for a specific document type.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- In Sales Order Entry, P4210, create a sales order.
- Process the order through Sales Update, R42800, with the processing option active to Update Sales History Summary (F4229), option 5 on the Update tab.
- On the R42800 version, also ensure the Purge to Sales Detail History (F42119) processing option is set.
- Review the F4229 compared to the F42119. Note the quantities do not balance.
