E1: 13: Update PM Schedule (R12807) Creates an Assigned Work Order with an Incorrect Work Order Type (TYPS) Value (Doc ID 2915766.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 15, 2022

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Capital Asset Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When running the Update PM Schedule (R12807) over a specific item and PM Schedule record, the system will create the assigned Work Order as Order Type WM, however the Work Order Type (TYPS) has an undesired value (defaulted as U rather than 6).

Steps:
1. Review a Preventive Maintenance Schedule (P1207) and verify that it has a Model Work Order and that it will come due when processed.
2. Run Update PM Schedule (R12807).
3. Inquire on the Assigned Work Order; note that the system created it with an unexpected Type field (TYPS) value. For example, TYPS should be 6 but was created as U.
