E1: 31B: Allow Block Styles to Be Applied to WT Operation (P31B94) when 'Before Lot' Exists
(Doc ID 2916004.1)
Last updated on DECEMBER 16, 2022
Applies to:
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Blend Management - Version 9.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
In order to keep track of the climate challenges (i.e. fires, floods, droughts, extreme heat waves etc) becoming the norm, and not the exception, it is possible to define styles for this purpose.
Currently, JDE was designed to carry the Style set at the block level up to the operation created for the related crop. However, if a previous operation is created for a certain block and then a new style is added to the block afterwards, that operation acts as a before lot and the newly added style does not roll forward to the WT operation or any other subsequent operations.
There is a business need to change the current design, to have the style details uploaded correctly from the block level when prior operations already exist, so that the customers can keep track of these changes affecting the crops more often.
Alternatively, the styles can be manually added to the WT operation, so that the new style details are rolled forward to the subsequent operations. However, this manual process is time consuming and prone to mistakes.
