E1: 43: Receipt Routing Movement (P43250) Creates Brand New Lot with Lot Status Code "E" (Expired) (Doc ID 2916269.1)

Symptoms

Whenever a new lot is assigned from Next Numbers for a particular Item Number, by Receipt Routing Movement to Stock (P43250) the Item Ledger Record (P4111) shows the Lot Status Code set to "E" (Expired).

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Purchase Order is ready to be received at Next Status 400
  2. Item is Lot Controlled. Lot Process Type (SRCE) = 2 (Lots Assigned with Next Number)
  3. Receive the PO into Receipt Routing (P4312). Lot number not assigned at this step.
  4. Use Receipt Routing Movement (P43250) to process the item at INSP (Inspection Status)
  5. In the Change Inventory Status Screen, take the Row Exit to Multiple Locations.
    1. On the first line of the Multiple Locations Screen, populate the Expiration Date and click the green checkmark.
  6. When the Change Inventory Status Screen returns, the Lot number is populated from the Next Number and the Lot Status Code is set to"E" (Expired).
  7. Click the green checkmark to save the transaction.
  8. Receipt Routing Movement (P43250) shows the Item is received to Stock
  9. Check Item Ledger (P4111) and confirm the Lot Status Code is "E" (Expired) on the new Lot Number created from the Receipt to Stock.
