E1: 43: Need Ability to Disable the Purchase Order Line After Partial Receipt (Doc ID 2917500.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 23, 2022

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Procurement and Subcontract Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Client wants to be able to lock a PO line that has been partially received at status 400/400. They do not want to set Display Tab Processing Option #6 (Detail Line Protection) to 400 because it disables the PO order lines just after printing the Purchase Order (Status 280/400) and they still may need to change the line at that status if it has not been received.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a new version of PO Entry (P4310)
    1. Set Display Tab Processing Option #6 (Detail Line Protection) to 400.
  2. Create a PO for 10 units. Status is 220/230.
  3. Print the PO (R43500). Status is 230/400.
  4. Attempt to change the dates on the order detail line.
    1. All the fields in the Row are locked. Nothing can be changed.
