Symptoms

Option 5 of the processing options under the process tab for General Ledger Report (R7009003) is not converting the RV number correctly.  This processing option is to indicate if the report replaces the characters using the UDC 70/RC, according to World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Standards.

Blank = Yes

1 = No

With the processing option set to 1 it falls into code RV Converted Number = RV Converted Number , which is invalid.  With it set to blank it calls the function to replace RV Number and update RV Converted Number.

Steps to duplicate issue:

  1. Turn on Mexico Localization
  2. Create a Journal Entry for a Mexico Company
  3. Post Journal Entry
  4. Run (R7009001) Chart of Accounts by Level - 70 - 09
  5. Set Processing Option under the Process Tab #5 to 1 this is for R7009003
  6. Review the XML - you can see with this being set it leaves NumUnidenPol blank
