Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Media object file attachment is getting deleted from the Table F00165 (Media Objects storage) after deleting the file attachment from a record. But it was observed that the same file attachment is not getting deleted from the physical location (\\ServerName\E920\mediaobj\htmlupload\FileName.extension). During the time of issue replication JAS logs can show the below messages as well.

Below are the steps to duplicate the issue with in Tools Release 9.2.6.3 and 9.2.5.6:

1. Login into HTML Instance
2. Open any application having Media Object File Attachments
3. Try to delete any file attachment from a record
4. The entry of the file attachment will be deleted from Table F00165 (Media Objects storage)
5. But still the same can be observed in Physical server location (\\ServerName\E920\mediaobj\htmlupload\FileName.extension)
