E1: SEC: SOLEXP: INST: ActivConsole / FAT Client Crashes When a Freshly Created User Logs in (Doc ID 2918951.1)

Last updated on JULY 17, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After creating a new user profile, if that user ID is used to login to the FAT client, login is not successful and activConsole / FAT client crashes. There are no on-screen error messages when this happens nor any related errors in the jde log or debug log of the activConsole process.

This issue does not happen if the new user ID is used to login to the corresponding web client first before logging into the FAT client.

Steps to replicate:

  1. Create a new user profile (user ID) that can login to EnterpriseOne. If required, Doc ID 1432206.1 can be referred for the steps
  2. Use this new user ID to login to a FAT client

Changes

Updated the tools release to 9.2.7.1
