(Doc ID 2920850.1)
Last updated on DECEMBER 02, 2024
Applies to:
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Warehouse Management - Version 9.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
When running R46171 Putaway Request for Loose Item a correct location is suggested, but the control capacity / dimension of location is done only for primary unit of measure recorded in P46011 (U/M Definition by Item) and not for the unit of measure which is used for P46095( Putaway Movement Instruction).
This issues occurred after the Bug 34597715 - R46171 PUTAWAY ONLY SUGGESTS OVERFLOW LOCATION FOR LOOSE ITEMS was fixed.
Steps to replicate
- Create a purchase order in a branch with LP activated for an item that is not LP controlled (loose item) and receive it.
- The Putaway Movement Instructions (P46095) for item were set only for the higher UoM level.
- Run R46171 (Putaway suggestion) process. The system suggested a location using the capacity / dimension set for primary UOM set in P46011.
