E1: 31: Run Order Processing (R31410) from Work Order Entry (P48013) Processes Over Unrelated Orders (Doc ID 2921186.1)

Last updated on JUNE 06, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Shop Floor Control - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Intermittently, when the 'Create Parts List and Routing' processing option is active in Manufacturing Work Order (P48013), the called version of Order Processing (R31410) will process over unrelated Work Orders. This happens in an high-volume environment where multiple Work Orders are created at the same time.

Steps
1. In Manufacturing Work Orders (P48013), activate processing option 6 (Create Parts List and Routing) in the Opt Defaults tab.
2. Have multiple users create Work Orders using the version from step 1 and other users create Work Orders using a version that does not have the 'Create Parts List and Routing' set.
3. Inquire Work Orders that should not have Parts List/Routing attached and notice that they were unexpectedly processed by the R31410
