Symptoms

Any time a modification is made to a Service Contract detail line, the system will create the following unique error in the jde.log: 14355/140375931639552 WRK:XXXXX_BC184970_P1721 Mon Dec 12 18:13:53.926081 jdeerr.c1763 COB0000120 - Business function (F1721EndDoc) (calling (F1720TableIO)) passed NULL error map (but specified 1 entry) to CallObject!

Steps:

  1. Find any contract in Work with Contracts, P1721.
  2. Select any line and take the row exit to Contact Detail.
  3. Make any small update (i.e. enter a number in Meter Reading 1) and click OK.
  4. Inquire on the jde.log and note the following error: COB0000120 - Business function (F1721EndDoc) (calling (F1720TableIO)) passed NULL error map (but specified 1 entry) to CallObject!
