Employee Pay and Tax Register Report (R073231) is dropping one employee from the totals calculations. A school district total is missing the amount for one of the employees shown in the detail section of the report for the school district. This is causing the totals for the company to be off by that amount.

This only seems to occur with Tax Type “N” (School District Tax) and seems to occur when multiple Ohio employees reside in the same Geocode but reside in different School Districts.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. In Work with Tax Area Information (P069012) make sure there is a record setup for Geocode 361090713 (Miami East LSD) Tax Type N (School District Tax).
  2. Setup two School District Codes in UDC 07/SS as follows:
    1. 05504 - Miami East LSD
    2. 05507 – Piqua CSD
  3. Setup three new salaried employees (P0801): [NOTE #1]
    1. 522509, Residence Location 361090713, School District 05504.
    2. 522510, Residence Location 361090713, School District 05507.
    3. 522511, Residence Location 361090713, School District 05507.
  4. Process a Payroll for the three employees in Pay Cycle Workbench (P07210).
  5. Setup a version of Employee Pay and Tax Register Report (R073231).
    1. Data selection on three Employee Address Numbers and Tax Type “N” (School District Tax).
  6. Run the version of Employee Pay and Tax Register Report (R073231).
    1. In the Detail section of the report, the sum of Taxes for the three employees is 161.54.
    2. In the Totals section of the report the total for the two school districts was 99.52. The third employees tax of 62.02 was dropped from the second school district’s total.
NOTE #1 Employee Data is from Oracle Demo Data. No personal Information is displayed.
