E1: 43S: SSS Acknowledgement (P43S01) Needs Ability to Use Order Activity Rules to Drive Workflow Approval Processing (Doc ID 2927150.1)

Last updated on MARCH 10, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Supplier Self Service - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

SSS PO Acknowledgement (P43S01) processing options require the Approved, Routing for Approval, and Rejected Status to be greater than the incoming
status in order to be able to send order line changes through workflow for approval.

When there are partial receipts, Suppliers may need to change delivery dates or order quantities for lines at Status 400/400.

Order activity rules should dictate what statuses are allowed - not the processing options.

SSS PO Acknowledgement (P43S01) requires us to add multiple new status codes - always having to higher statuses than the incoming status. Desired results is to have SSS PO Acknowledgement (P43S01) act like other system 43 applications - if a user wants to have a status go from 400 to 282, it should allow that if the order activity rules allow it.

Client requests redesign of SSS PO Acknowledgement (P43S01) and Workflow process to use Order Activity Rules to determine Routing for Approval regardless of incoming status.
