E1: 42W: Need to Prevent Remove Unreleased Lines From Shipments (R4277707) from Consolidating Shipments Where Fulfillment Status is 50 (Doc ID 2928209.1)

Last updated on MARCH 29, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Fulfillment Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Remove Unreleased Lines from Shipments (R4277707) is sometimes assigning existing Shipment Numbers at Fulfillment Status 50 (Released from Fulfillment) to order lines not yet released from Fulfillment instead of assigning new never before used Shipment Numbers to the Unreleased Order Lines.

This occurs because the Shipment Numbers at Fulfillment Status 50 are still considered open Shipments if they are at Shipment Status 10. The client is not always able to approve shipments for order lines the same day they are released from Fulfillment.

While this is functioning as designed, the client needs a way to prevent order lines not released from Fulfillment from receiving the same Shipment Number.

To resolve this issue, the client requests a new processing option in the Remove Unreleased Lines from Shipments (R4277707) UBE.

PROCESSING OPTION
New Process Tab Option #2

2. Allow Unreleased Lines to be Consolidated with Lines Released from Fulfillment (Fulfillment Status 50) but where the Shipment is still open (Shipment Status 10).

Blank = Allow Unreleased Lines to be Consolidated with Lines Released from Fulfillment (Fulfillment Status 50) but where the Shipment is still open (Shipment Status 10) <current functionality>
1 = Do not allow Unreleased Lines to be Consolidated with Lines Released from Fulfillment (Fulfillment Status 50) but where the Shipment is still open (Shipment Status 10) <new functionality>
