E1: 41: Blank Processing Option Error I75E278 When Attempting to Delete a Secondary Location in Item Locations (P41024) (Doc ID 2928837.1)

Symptoms

After receiving a Purchase Order to a secondary location, the system will create a record in the Purchase Order Receiver File (F43121) with Match Record Type (MATC) = 1 to signify that no voucher yet exists. Subsequently, after all on-hand inventory is relieved from the location but the related purchase order is not had a voucher created, upon attempting to delete that secondary location in Location Revisions (P41024), the system will display the following error:

Cause: The required processing options must not be blank.

Resolution: Enter valid values in required processing options.

Error ID I75E278

The error is misleading and does not direct the end user to the true reason why the secondary location cannot be deleted.

Steps
1. Create a Purchase Order (P4310) with a detail record using a new location.
2. Receive the item (P4312) into stock using the new location. This will update the Item Location Table (F41021) with that location.
3. Issue the full quantity in that location using P4112.
4. Inquire on the F43121 table in databrowser; notice that there is a record for the item and location with the MATC field = 1 (No voucher exists).
5. Inquire on the item in Work With Item Locations, P41024.
6. Select the location and click on the delete button. Notice that the system displays the following error:
