E1: 43: Receipt Reversal (P43214) Returns "Date is in this Year but Prior Month (PBCO)" Hard Error (4426) (Doc ID 2930944.1)

Symptoms

When performing a Receipt Reversal (P43214) in February 2023 for a PO Receipt that was created in January 2023, the following hard error is returned even though the January period has not been closed.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Go to General Accounting Constants (P000)
    1. Allow PBCO Postings is unchecked.
  2. Start PO Receipt Inquiry (P43214)
    1. Enter the PO # and click Find
  3. Change the GL Date in the header from “today’s date” in February 2023 to 01/31/2023.
    1. Date is in this Year but Prior Month (PBCO) hard error (4426) is displayed.
