Symptoms
After upgrading to 9.2.5.5 or later, including tools release 9.2.6.3/9.2.7.0, the Large Job XMLP kernels are crashing when a report definition is processed. The report definition status is left in Wait Executing (WX) in P95630. If the same job is processed by Small Job XMLP kernel, the report definition ends successfully, although it takes longer time to complete. The solution from Doc ID 2802896.1 - IBM i (AS400 V7R4) XML Large Job Kernel Zombie with Job Status 'X' - XMLPPROXY - UNABLE TO READ JAVA PROCESS has been implemented, but the XMLP Kernels are still crashing. The IBM JDK version is IBM JDK 8 SR6 FP25.
