E1: 43: Purchase Order Entry (P4310) Does Not Issue Requested Date is Not Work Day (Error ID 1921) In Change Mode (Doc ID 2933040.1)

Symptoms


In the Purchase Order Entry (p4310), when entering a new purchase order(Add mode),if the Promised delivery date(Data Item:PDDJ) is not a working day, the system display warning message Requested Date is Not Work Day (Error ID 1921).
However, when editing an existing purchase order(Change mode) and revise the Promised delivery date to non-working day, the P4310 dose not display warning message.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Add mode

  1. Add new Purchase order, Order date is today date
  2. On Purchase order detail screen, add item, Quantity, and skip next line, the system default the Promised Delivery date.
  3. Edit Promised Delivery date from a working day to a holiday as set up in the Workday Calendar application (P00071) and skip to next line.
  4. The system display warning message “Requested Date is Not Wore Day”which is correct.

Change mode

  1. Select an existing purchase order.
  2. Edit Promised Delivery from a working day to a holiday as defined in P00071 in P4310 detail grid and skip to next line.
  3. The system does not display any warning message.
