E1: BSSV: Consumer BSSV - WebLogic Server 14c Doesn't Remove a Space (Blank or Null Data) In The Payload. Older WLS Release Truncated The Space. (Doc ID 2933286.1)

Symptoms

The consumer BSSV was working fine for a long time. However, once WLS is upgraded to WLS 14.1.1 and Tools Release to 9.2.6.x from WLS 11g, the 3rd party rejects the payload. 

Steps to Duplicate:

  1. Execute the Consumer BSFN from a UBE with Purchase Order number with a blank value in E1.
  2. It will call the BSSV consumer and sends the payload to a 3rd party web service.
  3. Monitor the 3rd party (BPEL in this case) for the transaction.
  4. The transaction fails since the payload with a blank value is not valid for the 3rd party.
