E1: 42W: Fulfillment Management Sales Order Entry (P4210) Does Not Retain Dates Calculated From Order Prep Days and Delivery Date Preferences (Doc ID 2933825.1)

Order Preparation Days and Delivery Date Advanced Preferences are not working to schedule Pick Date and Promised Ship Date on Fulfillment Management Orders.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. In fastpath enter menu G40311 (Advanced Preferences) and select the Advanced Preferences Schedule Revisions (P4070).
  2. Enter Preference Schedule Name, click Find.
    1. Check the checkbox on the grid row and click the green select checkmark to enter the Revision screen
  3. In Preference Schedule Revisions (P4070), check the checkbox for Delivery Date Preference (Advance Preference Type 03) and take the Row Exit to Pref Detail (P4072)
    1. Select a Preference Detail record based on the customer and item.
    2. In Preference Values Revisions grid, populate 7 Transit Days and save twice and cancel to return to preference schedule.
  4. Repeat steps for the Order Prep Days Preference (Advance Preference Type 22) while setting the Order Prep Days to 3 days.
  5. Repeat steps for Fulfillment Entry (Advance Preference Type 41) while setting the Order Type to SO and the In Fulfillment flag to 1.
  6. Close out of the Advanced Preferences Schedule (P4070).
  7. Go into IV (Interactive Versions), Enter P4210 in Interactive Application, select a version and Row Exit to Processing Options.
  8. Select the Preference Tab
    1. Set Option #1 (Preference Profile Processing) = 1
    2. Set Option #3 (Override Schedule For Advanced Preferences) = <Your Advance Preference Name>
  9. Use your version of SO Entry (P4210) to add a new Fulfillment Management sales order
    1. During the data entry process, enter the Request Date in the Futur
    2. On the Sales Detail Revision (P4210) screen verify the system correctly calculates the Pick Date and the Ship Date based on the preferences.
    3. Save the order.
  10. Use Customer Service Inquiry (P4210) to re-inquire on the order
  11. Customer Service Inquiry shows the Pick Date and the Ship Date are set the same as the Request Date
    1. The dates calculated by the Advanced Preferences were not retained when the order was saved.
