E1: MOBJ: Intermittently Unable to Open File Media Object (Doc ID 2936380.1)

Symptoms

Intermittently application hangs while user trying to open file media object attachment.
Message on the Status Bar at the bottom of the application shows "Waiting for <server name>..."

JAS HTML server is on Linux and the media object call is from Linux to Windows share hosting media object files.
Using Load balancing but not clustering.

e1root log shows the exception is happening in JDEOWDirect.mediaObjectCopyFile() method.
