E1: 17: For Equipments With the Same Serial Number, P1702 Equipment Master Revisions Is Not Automatically Displaying P17011S Work With Equipment Serial Numbers (Doc ID 2937125.1)

Symptoms

For equipments with the same serial number, P1702 Equipment Master Revisions is not automatically displaying P17011S Work With Equipment Serial Numbers.

Steps:

1. P001012 Equipment Constants - Fixed Asset Constants, set Symbol to Identify Serial Number = blank to use the serial number search.
2. P1701 create two equipments with the same serial number (different product family and product model).
3. When going to details P1702 Equipment Master Revisions to create a new equipment for the serial, the screen P17011S Work With Equipment Serial Numbers should pop up to allow to choose the right asset. This is not happening. If manually pressing on the visual assist for parent number field, P17012S Equipment search/select opens.
   
   
   Note: In other applications (like P17714 WO revisions), this is happening automatically for a situation with multiple equipments and the same serial number.
