E1: 42: 42i: Outbound Inventory Management (OIM) Sales Order with Consignment & Non-Consignment Does Not Use DMAAI 4243 at Sales Update Billing-R42800 (Doc ID 2938454.1)

Last updated on MARCH 30, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Outbound Inventory Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

DMAAI 4243 - Cost of Goods /Consign Inventory is not written for the OIM Billing Order; it only writes the 4240 DMAAI at Sales Update R42800.

If you have an OIM sales order with two lines, one line with an OIM agreement (consignment) and the other as a regular stock line (non-consignment), at Sales Update the IS - Internal shipping order will write to the DMAAI 4243 - Cost of Goods /Consign Inventory and can write to two liability accounts. However, its BL - Billing order only writes for one inventory liability account. If this is the case, then the DMAAI 4243 does not have purpose.
