E1: INST: KER: Unable to Login Into the Deployment Server with Error 'Failed to verify peer certificate, error - [#10 - CERT_HAS_EXPIRED] ' in the jde.log (Doc ID 2938519.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 01, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In a instance setup using One-Click Provisioning, when attempting to login into the deployment server with SSL enabled for JDENET communications, the login gets stuck and the EnterpriseOne process is in 'Not Responding' state.

The following errors are found in the jde.log (found in the location defined in JobFile parameter in the jde.ini)

The server manager certificates were re-generated using steps mentioned in E1: OCI: How to Renew the Self Signed Certificates Used by Server Manager Management Console and Managed Homes/Instances on the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Provisioned Through One Click Provisioning Console? (Doc ID 2921950.1), however the issue still exists.

Steps

  1. Login into the deployment server.
  2. Open the solution explorer.
  3. Enter the credential and click 'Sign In'.
