E1: 34: Incorrect Demand Calculated from SV Service Order And WM Equipment Order Parts List When Using Master Planning Schedule - Multiple Plant (R3483) (Doc ID 2938653.1)

Last updated on MAY 22, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Requirements Planning - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When the purchased item is in multiple Equipment/Maintenance Work Order’s (48/OT – 04) parts list which has blank header item, and it is also included in a Manufactured Work Order’s (48/OT – 02) parts list, R3483 does not seem to be planning the purchase item correctly for the Equipment/Maintenance Work Orders parts list demand which has requested date greater than Manufactured Work Order parts list requested date.

Steps:

  1. Create a Purchased Item in P41026
  2. Create an Equipment WO/Maintenance WO future dated with Blank Header item. Attach purchased item in Parts list with future requested date and Qty 100.
  3. Create a P48013 Manufacturing WO. Attach item in Parts list with future Requested date and Qty 3. (This step is required to replicate the issue)
  4. Create an P48201/P17714 Equipment WO/Maintenance WO on future date with Blank Header item. Attach item in Parts list with future Requested date and Qty 15.
  5. Verify in P4021
  6. Run R3483 for item
  7. Verify messages in P3411. (Issue: No O message of OP order type created for 15 demand coming from WM order)
  8. Verify P4021. (Issue: WM order demand is not planned by R3483)
