Symptoms

When trying to change the status of a batch from U (In Use) to A (Approved) on screen error JAS_MSG346: JAS database failure: [BSFN_CALLOBJECT_ERROR] An error occurred during the call to trigger business function F0011_UPDATEAFTER: 2 is received.

Steps:

  1. Fast Path to P0011, Work With Batches (or a specific menu that has the Work With Batches application) 
  2. Select Unposted Batches and Batch Status U in the QBE line
  3. Select the batch > Row exit > select Revise
  4. Change the Batch Status from U to A
  5. Select OK > JAS_MSG346 error received
  6. Select OK on the error and need to close the application
  7. Go back into Work With Batches and see the batch with Batch Status = A (Approved)

The User Specific JAS Debug log shows the following errors:

Applied the ESU for Bug 30582446 and added record BHF0011 - Enable Batch Status History in the E1 System Control application P99410 per the Special Instructions.
